The rules regarding visitors in our hospital are as follows:
Visiting hours in our hospital are between 09:00 AM and 9:00 PM every day. Child visitors are not admitted. During the visit, it is requested to be quiet in order not to disturb the patients and their relatives.
Only two people can visit the patient at the same time. If there are more than two visitors at the same time, these people are informed and held in the relevant service corridor seating area.
The visitor gives the patient's name, surname and his/her identity information to the main information desk. The main information officer directs the visitor to the relevant room.
If necessary, contact is made with the patient's physician for the relatives of the patients who want to learn about the patient's condition. If the physician cannot be accessed, no medical information is given about the patient.
In cases that may be inconvenient for the patient, the visit is subject to the permission of the physician. In this case, the patient's nurse ensures that the "visitor is restricted" sign is placed on the room door.
Flowers with soils will not be admitted in patient rooms. The flowers sent are received by the security guard at the main entrance in the lobby and notified to the patient or his/her relatives by phone, and the "Flower Delivery Card", a copy of which is on the flower, is given to the patient or his/her relatives. The patient or patient's relative receives the flowers from the security with this card while being discharged.
Permission will be obtained by contacting the supervisor nurse on duty for floors and the responsible physician on duty for intensive care, if the first degree relatives of emergency hospitalized patients want to visit the patient outside of visiting hours. The patient's physician will be consulted to find out whether there is a medical problem or not.
Information about the patient entering the operation is sent to the nurse of the patient regularly and the patient's relatives are informed. The relatives of the patients who have a patient in the operating room are directed to the patient room and the patient's relatives are informed by the doctor when the patient comes out of the surgery.
Regarding the relatives of the patients who insist on visiting their patient outside of the specified hours, the supervisor nurse will be contacted outside of working hours.
Floor nurses will be responsible for applications related to visitors.
Visitor hours of the psychiatry service are between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Sundays. The ID proof of visitor will be produced to the security guard and recorded in the "Psychiatric Service Visitor Registry".
The rules regarding the companions in our hospital are as follows:
The patient and/or patient's relatives decide whether they want a companion during the admission of the patient and accordingly the hospitalization desk arranges the patient's room.
Only one person can stay as a companion in the accompanying/single patient rooms.
If the patient stays in an unaccompanied room, but the nurse and doctor decide on the need for accompaniment, a companion can be taken with the patient.
Since the patient's companion is our guest during his/her stay in our hospital, the nurse and the floor secretary should provide him/her with the necessary information and ensure his/her comfort.
Companion information is recorded in the relevant section of the hospital HIMS system by the floor secretary.
The rules regarding food and beverage in our hospital are as follows.
For the health of our patients, smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire hospital building.
It is strictly forbidden to keep food on the floors by staff, patients and their relatives, due to vector control.
Necessary checks are made by security guards so that the companions do not take food to the floors.
Food and beverage service to the floors for the companions can be made from the hospital's cafeteria, and the cafeteria serves until 11:00 PM.
If the patient wants food and beverage other than the food prepared by the dietitian, it can be provided by the hospital within the knowledge of the physician.
The rules regarding the admission of visitors to the Intensive Care Units are as follows:
Since the patients admitted to the General Intensive Care Unit have a serious life risk, our intensive care unit is closed to general patient visits. These rules have been set in order not to interrupt patient care and treatment. In order to protect patients from infection in the General Intensive Care Unit, a maximum of one person is allowed to visit between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM during the day with the permission of the Intensive Care Doctor/Nurse.
If the Newborn Intensive Care patient visits are available with the permission of the Chief Physician or the Chief Nurse, a maximum of one person is allowed to visit between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM in the afternoon. Visits are made only by the baby's parents.
